Default Question about D16A8

Hello all

I have decided that it is time to do my first swap. Even though I'm probably behind my time I wanna do a ZC in my 88 crx dx. I contacted a dealer (JDM Engine Depot) about what they have in stock and they said that they have a euro D16A8. They can get me either the 4-2-1 or 4-1 design.

Apparently the 4-1 is supposed to make more power and even though they aren't sure, they think its from a rover. I have heard a few rumors about some of these engines not bolting into my car like the jap spec ones do. Different motor mounts or something. Can someone who knows what they are talking about fill me in on this issue? If it doesn't bolt in im not going to bother buying it unless the motor mounts are easily (cheaply) replaced.

I am new to hondas but I do love my crx and the ol dx engine has over 300k on the clock and is starting to show it. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

be careful with that link - some of the ZC info is not valid - this one is probably better:

But the fact still stands that all ZCs/D16A8s will bolt in right?
