Ok here is my problem. On my dash and cluster lights. They work on or off but there is no dimming. Just on or off. I have tried another switch but its the same. The only extra switch that I have it a 90-91 and they are different. Its on a 88 si dash harness and a 89 si dash cluster

 

why would you want it dimmer? lol I like mine nice and bright so i can see it even during the day

the reason I want it is so everything works as it should. Its the last thing that I need to get working properly. Besides on long night drives its kind of nice to dim the lights. Helps see the road better.

Either replace the dimmer itself, as it has gone bad, or swap out the LEDs for normal bulbs, as LEDs can't be dimmed (if there are LEDs in there).
