Default synthetic oil and tranny fluid

I have a 1997 accord 2dr lx (auto) and in the process of installing a turbo. I was wondering if anyone knew if the synthetic tranny fluid would make a big diffrence or not allowing the tranny to hold up longer.the car has 73,000 is it wise to switch to synthetic motor oil?

thanks for your help

I would definetly switch to syn motor oil since it also lubes the turbo. For tranny fluid there are mixed feelings with full syn in trannies. I would go with B&M trick shift and maybe some Honda ATF mix. You definetly want to add a bigger tranny cooler.
