bad o2 sensor?
Background of problem:
If the car sits for an extended period (enough for it to REALLY cool down), when I start the car everything is fine for a while but then after about 5 to 10 minutes the check engine light comes on. I checked the code and it's a code for an o2 sensor. Now if I shut the car off for a few seconds and crank it back on... everything is fine for the rest of the day. The code is still there if I jump the ecu, but I have no check engine light.
On really hot days if I let the car sit for 10 minutes ideling and then drive... I get no check engine light. Could this be the sensor going bad??
Thanks!
Frank

Sometimes you may need to use an On Bboard Diagnostic system (that plugs in under your steering) to clear the code/s completely. However, I think more and likely your o2 sensor is going bad though.
