From the sound of the engine and shifts, it seems like it could have been pushed harder.

 

The guy who done this lap posts on the UK DC2 forum. It's a UKDM integra with the following mods:

how can a Mazda 3 beat the R around the ring??? and not by just a second or two....it ran a 8:39....the CTR ran a 8:47???

AND the Mazda said in-experienced driver.....wtf?!

 

are you talking speed 3 or regular 3? I can see the speed 3 beating and R, but not a regular 3

 

It is a Mazdaspeed 3... click on the car and it gives the specs of a Mazdaspeed.

 

Ok, like I said I can see that, the speed 3 is no slouch and supposedly handles really well, so this doesn't surprise me
