Hey I just drained my tranny fluid out today. I was wondering how many quartz am I supposed to put in it? Is it 2 or 2.5? I heard rattling noises and gear wasn't going in smootly so some friends told me to do this it might help. Let me know thanks

Youre supposed to fill it till fluid starts coming out of the fill port.

I have no idea where that is. I fill it by the axle and it works!

 

by the axle really? just take the speed sensor off it's one 10mm and use a funnel so easy...

just go to honda and buy their transmission fluid...

is it bad if I go over 2.5? Cause I only put about 1.5 quarts in, took off the fill hole bolt and there was fluid coming out so im guessing I have enough?

If I fill it by the speedsensor I can probably have more tranny fluid than feeding it through the whole. Is too much fluid bad? I dont wanan pour too much into the speedsensor hole

 

too much is always bad.. the gears start whipping air into the oil and this turns it into whipped cream or in this case whipped oil.

 

true but it better than not enough
