Hi, I have a b series turbo in my 92' eg sometimes it will start right up but other times it will just crank but wont start. When I roll the car and then jump in and put it in gear and drop the clutch it starts right up i have no idea why it would do this, if any of you have had this problem or know why it might be doing this please let me know...

 

possible starter? I remember seeing a bad starter once in a 94 EG that would spin, but wouldn't actually crank the engine.

 

When it cranks but won't start, are you getting spark and fuel? And why would it roll start all the time? Got to troubleshoot some more.

 

The ignition switch may be bad.

 

Yeah, I'd kind of thought that too... Like the 'on' position works, but the 'start' position has a bad contact or something.

 

Well I but a new starter and dizzy in and took it to Cortney Green he had it all day and drove it all day and said he didn't have one problem with it then when i got in it to leave it wouldn't start. I put a new fuel pump in and so far it has started everytime but i have a feeling its not going to fix the problem.
