how do you install a clock into a92 VX?
I got a 92 vx without a clock... I have the clock I just don't know how to wire it up... I can't find any write ups either....
remove the cluster bezel by taking out the 2 screw in front/top of the cluster.
then carefully remove the bezel using a small thin flat head screw driver.
pop off the block & you should see some wiring tucked in the dash.
now you just plug it up & reverse the process.

Before you remove the bezel, you'll have to remove the hazard switch (#5 in pic). This pops out with a small flatblade screwdriver. You'll have to disconnect the wire from the switch to get it off. Then you'll need to remove the screw inside the hazard switch area (#6 in pic). There are 2 other screws above the speedo cluster. Once those are out, you can start prying around the bezel.
Be careful taking out the cluster bezel...you don't want to break any of the clips, particularly those holding the vents in. Here is a pic of the points you will be prying on with the screwdriver (marked A). You might want to wrap it in electrical tape or use a t-shirt around the head of the screwdriver so you don't screw anything up.

Once you get the bezel out, flip it over and you'll see the block-off plate for the clock is held in with two screws. Take them off and remove the plate. Put your clock in it's place and screw it in using those screws. The clock plug is in the dash between the cluster and the hazard switch area...just fish around for it if you don't see it...it's a 4-pin plug IIRC.
