alright this is my first post so here goes:
I have a 92 civic hatchback EG(EH2) which is a DX, therefore no tachometer. So i purchased an SI guage cluster with 151,xxx miles. I have 81,xxx on mine. I heard that it is quite simple . However, i turn to all of you for guidance. I have never opperated with electronics and things. So if anyone with knowledge on this subject post a walkthrough for me .

It is soooooooo simple. First you will need to remove the trim panel from around your cluster. this involves removing two phillips head screws from the underneath the lip that hangs over the cluster. then pry out the hazard switch and remove the phillips head screw in there and pull the panel off carfully. Then get yourself a 10mm socket and an extension and remove the two bolts on each side of the cluster and then carefully remove the cluster. Then unplug all the wires on the back. Installation of the new one is the exact opposite. Just make sure that when you plug the connector back into the hazzard switch that it is the right one. there is another connector there for the factory clock that is plugged into the back of the trim plate, if you swap the two wierd **** will happen, I did not learn from experience but a guy that brought his car into my shop did and I charged him 60 bucks to swap the two connectors around. I didnt feel bad though because he was a stupid *** ricer. Thats it. Hope this helps
