Default Any information on the F22Z2 please?

Does anyone have any good information on the f22z2 found in a honda accord 2.2i? I havent been able to find much, at all! Just wondering what makes it different from my f22b2 besides vtec, it makes 150 hp, and as compared to my 8:8 compression stock, iv seen it has 9:3. thats basically all ive seen. Im just wondering what makes it tick. Different pistons? different head? vtec obviously..., intake manifold? anything would be helpful, i might try to do some sort of hodge podge and maybe try interchanging parts or idealy buying the crate motor and try that +5 for originality ha but iv never seen a crate motor advertised . Any information is appreciated

Edit: or the f22b5 accord, info appreciated, any part interchangability/ where i can source a crate motor. Im very interested in these i believe UK only higher performing accord engines ~150bhp

I'm going to assume the pistons are more dished to give it the higher compression ratio. It's probably not worth the money to get one into the U.S. You might as well do the euro r's h22 if you're going to go that far. I've never heard of an f22b5

thats what im afraid of... but i have cash left from selling my bike and i thought about treating the old accord. as far as i can tell online the f22b5 is from the 91-93 accord but european as well. I wouldnt mind going h22 but its been done.. a lot, i was hoping to try something diffferent and experiment, show the SOHC some love.

To be honest, I'd save that money to put it towards either a forced induction setup, or for a stock forced induction car. But hey, it's what you want.

Yeaah... im trying to stay away from a FI setup but its way to tempting. Iv just always prefered NA as i see it as more respectable means of gaining power... even though it may cost 3x as much as a cheap turbo set up and still make less power. who knows im just trying to see what people have heard about these weird UK models. Just trying to think things through, and saving it isnt a possibility when your 17 ha. Sad but you all know its true.

not to nit-pick but would the pistons be less dished? more dish is going to lower compression ratio

Ha yeaah iv always had my eyes on one of your headers..but thats beside the point, ill stay away from the UK engines, and i wont go h22 swap... might drop in my ford 289... that would be original :D. but thats a whole other deal, im not sure the bay would even allow, but thanks for the info and product endorsement.. lol.
