you could, you would lose displacement though. LS/VTECS or b20/vtecs are such good combos because they have the increased displacement that an LS/b20 has over a GSR/b16 AND they have the increased airflow of a vtec head.

You cracked a sleeve? I suppose if you found b20 block with out a crank I would use it. Though if it has the b20 crank you should go with the b20 crank. The b20s sleeves are thinner then your GSRs

You will need to balance the bottom end as well as run ARP rod studs in the b20 rev high that high, as most are saying you will be De-stroking the b20. b20 = 89mm stroke and GSR = 87.2mm.

I would just use the b20 crank and buy pistons and rods for the b20 and be done. You will keep the displacement that many want from a b20/vtec setup.

Just don't think you can slap a VTEC head on there and you will be able to rev to 9500 rpm though.

b20 block is 84mm not 82mm.. So those pistons will not fit into your block.

If you cracked a sleeve on 81/82mm then dont go near the b20 block, they are weaker because of the 84mm bore.

Exactly what I was going to say. Unless you don't mind running much less boost (= much less power), or less timing+more fuel (= much less power), the B20 will blow up in even more spectacular fasion.

Sell the B20 block (someone always wants one), get an B18A/B, bore it to match your pistons, get new rings/bearings/seals, then be done with it. Hopefully you didn't stick with the 81mm bore, since you'd have to pray the b18 or b20 block has no wear on the sleeves. Ideally you'd resleeve the GSR for under $1k from golden eagle, and it will take practically any abuse you can dish out, even at 84mm.

U can buy darton sleeves for $300 and the machine shop and usually resleeve the block for $300 or less, just don't buy the darton M.I.D. sleeves.

I hope u know in order to do the 95mm stroker u have to get a deck exstention too, just wanted to throw that in there.
