Default Input on crank selection for sleeved b20

Ok guys what's up. I have a full running Gsr in my car that I was planning to build and boost until just yesterday I got a deal on a darton sleeved b20 block that was to good to pass. With that said my question is should I take my Gsr crank and put it in the b20 and go from there or should I get a b20 crank?

B20 crank. Better stroke. No reason to "de-stroke" a b20. wouldn't be any point. way less torque.

I was only considering this because I already have the Gsr crank in my motor now. The b20 block is bare just sleeves and caps. And I have been reading that the b20 isn't safe at high revs. I need this car as reliable as possible

It's all a matter of personal opinion really... Honestly, the LS/B20 cranks will be great for your setup if you really want the torque, and can effectively use it... However, I have done a LOT of research on engine building, I have built a few, and been involved in numerous others, and from what I have learned with these cars (in drag racing) is torque can actually be detrimental. The larger bore already produces more torque, but by de-stroking the engine, it allows you to rev higher, giving you a broader powerband, which is more useful... In a drag racing application, too much low end torque just equals traction problems, where as less torque and higher RPMs/top end power (broader powerband) allow you to more effectively use the power you have, by putting it down to the ground where it needs to be... Like I said, it's all a matter of opinion, and what works best for your application and platform, just from my experience I would take a big bore short stroke high reving top end engine, over a big bore big stroke torque monster anyday....

If 475whp is your goal I did this with e85 a 2.0 (89mm crank/84mmbore), ported head, pro 1's
and the PeakBoost AC kit with the standard 57trimm T3/T4 Turbo...amazing spool! I kept AC and powersteering! So i would definately keep the 89mm crank...just give Ken a call!

as an example exact same setup last year except smaller stroke (b16) only made 440whp

thanks for the input so far guys. And about the 475 whp goal I have to change my signature. I have since then changed my goal to 650whp with a/c and p/s.

So as of now parts list stands at:

Gsr head
Bare darton sleeved 84mm b20 block
LS tranny(looking to get a GSR with quaife LSD)
skunk2 pro1 cams
skunk2 pro cam gears
skunk2 titanium retainers
REV dual valve springs
skunk2 pro intake manifold
wiseco 9.5:1 pistons
eagle H beam rods
arp head studs
virgin p28 (hondata s300 installed)
AEM fuel rail
AEM fuel pressure regulator
fuel pressure guage
Walbro 255 lph fuel pump
Fabworx A/C friendly ramhorm manifold 44mm flange
intercooler
intercooler piping

I am also thinking very hard about this^^^^^. I would hate to have all that power to only be stuck spinning all day
