Recently my primary 02 sensor went out on me. I'm looking to replace and was doing some research. Turns out, that sensor is a wide band and cost like $250. I was at carparts wholesale and they say that their universal one for 30 dollars will work for secondary or primary. However on RockAuto, they list their universal one for only the secondary sensor and for the primary they only list the oem $250 sensor. Anyone know if I can use a universal one? I've used universal sensors before and have had no problems in other vehicles.

Thanks for your help. That site agrees with Rock Auto so I'm going to conclude that universal sensors can not replace widebands. That site also has the best price so far.
