will a dseries eghatch linkage fit a delsol with dseries? I just would like to make sure because im 99% sure it doesnt. (swappin b16 from sol to eg and d15 to sol)

What about ebrake cables? will delsol rear disc brake ebrake cables swap to a eghatch? i want to swap the delsol rear disc brakes to the hatch need to know what i need to buy for it to work.

pretty sure ill need new cables and linkages for both cars. Someone help

 

shiftlinkage is dif from eg and delsol i beleive at least the beseires ones for sure.
the cables from eg and delsol are also dif but can still work. you will have little or no slack to work with when puttn them in. are the rear discs the same size?
then why switch?

 

Sol has the disks it sounds like, the hatch has drums I think he's saying. All rear disks are the same for non-type R Civics and Integras.

the e-brake cables will NOT work. I've dealt with that swap a few times. They are way too short. The del sol takes both cables to a junction, then the junction to another cable, to the handle.

The EG's cables go straight to the handle.

Go ahead and try the swap and find out for yourself. But in the end, you're gonna be pissed. Trust me.

yes the hatch has drum brakes im putting on the discs....
so i need a hatch si cable assembly and what will i need for the delsol to take the drums?

I'd imagine that you need del sol S rear brake cables to put the drums back on the del sol.


As for the discs on the EG, you don't have to get the hatch ones. Any 92-95 Si cables will work, as well as '99-'00 si cables, any '94-'01 integra cables, and any '92-'95 EX with ABS cables.

if you get cables for a 4 door car, they will be a bit longer, but the slack can be taken up, and the cables will still work. It's ok to have too much cable, but of course, not enough cable won't work.
