I have a 93 civic with a obd2 ITR swap.. My car idles around 1400 and randomly jumps to 2000... Today I swapped out the iacv and it still does the same thing... I'm using a Jdm p30 with the swap... Can anyone help me?

you may have a vacuum leak if you're jumping idle like that.

get a bottle of brake cleaner, start the car and start spraying around the intake manifold. if the idle drops over certain areas you sprayed, then you know where the leak is around.

Can you kill the idling engine by covering the top of the throttle body with your hand? If not, you have a major intake air or vacuum leak.

Is the CEL on? Does the idle speed change if you unplug the IACV? Have you tried bleeding the cooling system?

So I cover the throttle body up with my hand or that little metal hose on the top? If it's the little metal hose ur talking about it's got a cover on it... There's no cel and I replaces the iacv today and still nothing... If I unplug he iacv what's it suppose to do?

Pull off the air intake to expose the throttle body. With the engine idling, cover the top of the throttle body (TB) with your hand. If the engine doesn't die, you have a major intake air/vacuum leak. Check for disconnected vacuum hoses attached to the intake manifold (IM) and leaking TB and IM gaskets.

Yes, and make sure the IM and TB bolts are torqued to spec.
