I have the eudm ek4 model 98 and i want to replace the oem mirrors with carbon power mirrors type spoon.

I found some power mirrors type spoon for honda civic 96-00 on ebay.

I asked the seller if these ones fit propertly to my ek4 and he answered me that he was not absolutely sure because these products refer to usdm models.

There are differences at mirrors wiring of eudm and usdm models?

The mirror fixing area over the door is different between eudm and usdm models?

 

if your EK4 has the power folding option than it wont work... if its just a regular power adjustable mirror it will fit.

 

What do you mean with power folding option? No my mirrors are folded only by hand!!!The fix area on my door is the same with this one of aftermarket mirrors?

My car has only power regulated mirrors without heating control.The control power unit allows me to choose left or right mirror and regulate the direction of glass.

as much jdm as you may want to be, your car is not an ek4. that is just the "universal" chassis code we use here. it's probably a ej6 as are most USDM 96-00 civics, the only exceptions are the hx and ex, which are ej7 and ej8 respectively

just to be sure, check the vin plate in front of the steering wheel or on the engine side of the firewall. you'll find truth there

your car is a usdm si unless the engine was swapped in.

but yes the mirrors will fit because the mirrors are for a coupe and you have a coupe

In USA,there is not hatch ek 96-00 with engine b16a2 but only coupe with engine b16a2 known as sI!

In europe coupe si was never imported!!!!!We have only hatch with engine b16a2 known as vti and chassis as ek4!!!!

The shape of oem mirrors between hatch vti(ek4) and Coupe SI is different but i think that we have common mirror switch and fix area on the door!!!I hope happens this,so that i can put the mirrors on my car.

My mirrors are only power regulated,no power folded and heated!
