Hello, I just did a LS Vtec into my 1990 Integra GS..but my Vtec wont turn on. This is my set up,,,

* B18A1 block
* B16A head
* Stock OBD0 LS Distributor
* OBD0 PR3 ECU

My car hasn't had the O2 Sensor since ive bought the car. Will not having the O2 sensor cause it to not work? or do I need a B16/GSR distributor, or is it both? lol....Alot of my friends talk crap on me for doing LS vtec to my DA, cause they dont like them, but I believe in it. If anyone has any tips, or Ideas please let me know. Thanks!

 

yeah you should use a vtec dizzy ,but it shouyld work fine. 02 doesnt matter.
how did you wire the vtec and pressure sw?

 

I used this Vtec wiring Diagram................

 

if you followed it it should work are you getting 21v. to the solnoid? back probe it with test light or dvom and rev or drive the eng to the point vtec engages and you should get power. or try to bypass the pressure sw. splice it into the vtec wire.

 

I actually just double checked my steps and i wired my Vtec solenoid to where the IAB solenoid goes lol. im going to rewire hopefully it works Be Back soon lol

 

oh and I dont need Knock sensor right? i dont even think my block has one lol

 

you dont need it but should unless you chip it.when you install the knock you use the alternator bracket to install the sensor.
