i drive a 1987 honda civic si, the problem is the idle doesnt stay in one place when the car is stopped. i replaced the pcv, new radiator cap etc.. i think its the idle air-control valve, but i have no idea where its located. can someone help me?

It might block it but it's on red pepper racing in the service manual section.

 

on the back of the intake manifold, against the firewall. it's got two phillips head screws on top. remove them, then the plate that is held on by them. use a large flat blade screw driver or chisel to tighten the inside plate down. replace cover.
