I have a 1993 civic ex that will not seem to want to stay running. Starts up fine just doesnt want to stay running. Any and all advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Also wondering what fuel pressure should read and compression across all cylinders.

Is this a low idle problem or does the engine stall if revved?

 

1.5 with vtec, car turns over fires up and dies immediately kinda like brooOOOOooom then just dies. Sorry for the lame sample ha.

 

Any CEL codes?

You might also want to check the mechanical timing.

 

No codes, I was backing up then it started to sputter and bog then died. Just turned over wouldnt even fire. Found there was no spark coming from distributor so replaced that. Now it fires up and dies immediately after starting. If that helps any.
