i don't think you can fit that long of a stroke crank into a b-series block.....95mm from eagle/crower would be the most....someone else can shed some light on this?

I know several companies (like Crower and Brian's new company) can make custom cranks, but I don't think that will work, even if you notch the block pretty severely. You could call Brian Crower and ask him how big you can go with a B series.

Since you don't often hear bigger than 95mm for the b-series, that is probably the most you can/should run... Just my opinion...But it doesn't hurt to call and get an actual reason from him right? (good question) let us know actually. kinda interested now.

i think there have been some bseries engines built with 102mm strokes.
castillos maybe?
idk if they are taking 95mm cranks and welding them up and offset grinding them or what.

I think Ericks racing made a custom crank and ran a 101mm crank for the black coupe. I would ask him.

a old school guy here in town is currently doing a 101 stroke B series, so im sure the 101 can be done. I dont kno the guy too well, so i didn't want to ask him where he get that 101 crank from. 95 is the most common stroker kit there is for the B series, and i have a 95 stroker B running in the Street Power class, which has no competition against the k guys, so im thinking about the 101 set-up before i step into the K's.

Use the 97mm Scat crank. You don't have to work real hard to get it in the block and that is pushing it for a stock deck. You will have a lot of bearing and ring maintenance with a 101 stroke, but if you like taking motors apart every 10 passes then have at it At minimum a half inch deck plate should be used, but I wouldn't even mess with that.

At the point you are spending this kind of money and pushing things this hard, why not just run an H22, SOHC F, or K24 and get away from the dimensionally handicapped B series? It will save you a lot of money in the end and you willl make more power. You can sneeze on those larger motors and more power than a B series that needs weekly maintenance.

I have a set of brand new Arias Pistons set up for a 98 mm Deck Plate Engine if your intersted. I would also talk to Castillos to see what they can do.

werd. F and H motors are gettin cheap as shot to buy and build now and are better in pretty much everyway when correctly worked on than a B series

VTECJUN ran a 98mm crank on his 14:1 methanol motor.

I don't remember who made it.

Anything more than 95mm an you probably are gonna wanna run a deckplate...
I know Scat offers a 98mm crank, but you are talking about serious money and serious machine work...
