Sunroof issues 93 Prelude
I can't get my sunroof on my 93 Prelude to move at all. I checked the fuse it's good, the switch is good (sends out voltage in both direction) but the motor/sunroof doesn't appear to budge. If there a mechanical override so I can cycle the sunroof, grease it up, and inspect the motor assembly?
How do I inspect the motor, is it easy to remove?

the override is the little circle plug thing on the ceiling just behind the brake light in the window. you use a hex i think to turn it. i had to do the same thing. a little grease and it will be good as new.
Well the track is free and I found out why I never got one of the signals (close). Turns out I'm missing a relay. Oh well, easy fix. Problem is, the motor is for sure dead. I tried to run 12 volts directly to it, seeing as it's a ground thru mounting setup, it was easy to do. But nothing came of it. I need to really get this thing going, how hard is it to change that motor?
My honda manual shows its hard as hell.

PRoblem solved. Someone with sticky fingers had taken a relay from me. Turned out the relay's are NC as a ground, and when you use the switch you just turn on the signal to transform the ground to a 12V supply thus powering the motor. Super easy fix, junkyard relays did the job, and they were free!
Took some troubleshooting with a honda manual and some good practice with a volt meter.
