Default SI radio on an EG

I wanted to know if the cd player from a 2000 SI fits an EG without cutting and splicing

Plugs are different. HOWEVER, you can get a CRV stereo from a 98 or older. It's the same amber illumination as the Si but it has the older style plug.

Other option is to make your own conversion harness for the Si stereo to make it plug and play.

I'm pretty sure you can get those conversion harnesses on eBay for like $15-20. I have an SI stereo in my EH hatch.

Just as everyone said, it won't. I bought one without realizing 99-00 were different so I got a pig tail.

just so you know, '94-'01 integra units are a straight plug n play to EG civics. I have an '01 ITR stereo in my '92 CX.
