wiring fog lights on a crx????
ok i just got some fot lights that came with all the wires.
got everything wired up in the front, ran the wire into the firewall and everything now im confused. from the switch there are 3 wires, black is ground, white is to lights, and red is the power. i dont know what to do with the red one. it says to hook up to battery terminal or strait to battery, but the cord the supply is like a foot long so there is no way. ive heard some one say to hook it to the fuse box but to where?

You can run it to the fuse box, however I would suggest getting a longer wire, just cut and solder an extension onto the wire so you can reach the battery, also make sure you run an inline fuse just so if it does craps out, you won't melt anything.
i would also add a relay if one was not included. but the right way to do it would be to hook it up headlight switch. the OEM fog light harness plugs in right here....

then again im assuming you have oem fogs and harness.

yea, i get that you bought the cheapie lights, but what im saying is that if you plug the main power source wire to this location then your fogs will light up the way they are supposed to. i.e. when you turn your headlights on your fog lights will light up as well.
the wire i need to connect to the fuse box or some think looks like a metal c at the end of the wire
like this
