searched... but no go. I just rebuilt my 82mm gsr, CC stage 5 four puck. Started it today for the first time everthing going good. Let out clutch in neutral and the car dies. So deal is car has no neutral. When i let out the clutch it feels like the brakes are on and the only way to keep it from dying is to give it gas (Wheels off the ground). What really is confusing me is that when the car is off and in neutral i can spin the wheels with no resistance. Any one had this issue? im almost sure i will be dropping the trans tommorow, but would like a tranny gurus thoughts on the issue first. The trans was fine before the rebuild on the motor and the new clutch. thanks for any input in advance.

 

did you get the input shaft to sit in the clutch/flywheel properly? are the axles all the way in?

 

The axles are all the way in. The trans went without forcing it any more than normal so i assume the input shaft is fine. I am going to try to pull it tomorrow, and i hope it is something that simple. Its just wierd that with the car off and in neutral it operates normally. But with the car running I let out the clutch and neutral tries rotate the tires. All the gears feel like something is trying to keep them from rotating. Thanks for the suggestion.
