I took my hatch to LACR this past friday and got some very good runs, I was happy with my times. The track sucks though because it's so damn slow. I wish there was another local track in Los Angeles that had grudge matches on Fridays and Wednesdays. Exapmle Z28's stock run 14.3 on average SS' run 13.7 on average Lightnings run 14.2 on average GSR tegs run 15.9 on average new m3's run 14.1. So I was kind of happy with my 14.5 but I just wish there was a sea level track that was open every Friday night.

I've never seen any stock SSes that were significantly faster than Z28s.

 

if u were to run at pomona ur time would be at least half a sec. faster

 

you guys complain about that track but so many records have been broken there still a fast track but i have 2 sea level tracks now sac and sears

I ran my hatch, I just got done putting a home made turbo kit on it. T3 running 4.5psi on street tires ir ran 14.502 at 99mph and it would spin the **** out of them up until 3rd. I went and bought some MT slicks and hopefully Friday I'll have them ready to go. I also am going to drop my cat and run it open downpipe. Hoping to get a nice 13 second timeslip

 

Oh that time is not with my LSvtec. My LSvtec runs faster than 14.5

Are you sure about the Lightning? I thought they were high 13 second cars?

And the Z28 has like 310hp and SS 325hp I believe so no way the times can be that different. They are both 13 second cars I believe.

 

well on average I see Lightnings running low 14's as well as Z28's and SS' running high 13's

cam gears are fine...still in my car And the hood....well i tried fixing the best i could, but never really got it to fit right. That is also still on my car Its somewhat my motors fault aswell, damn gsr motor sits to damn high. Good luck breaking in the 13's.

I heard that a helmet is mandatory at Carlsbad....

 

is fontana open on a regular basis like LACR (example Wednesdays and Fridays for grudge) Carlsbad is a little to far for a 1 day trip. It would be good for a weekend thing. I just wish pomona was open every weekend.
