Apexi VAFC II settings on K20A2
I got the car with the APEXI VAFC II installed, but I think the settings are not properly set. I'm fine with 7HP for now. They are free anyway. I'm not planning to buy a k-pro for the moment.
Thank you if you can provide me the settings for that setup :
K20A2 with H/E/I

what? To my knowledge the VAFC and only play with the map sensor is kinda junk for the k-series. VAFC controllers can't control VTEC in k-series because of the VTC. The are only good for old vtec (b,d,f,h series etc)
I'd seriously consider hitting default settings and just using it as a pretty light and gauge rather than playing with that piece of crap controller.

and PS... Just like a good tune... one persons settings don't always work for another. If you want it to be used correctly.. don't be cheap and have a tuner tune your car... or buy a wideband Gauge and try street tuning it yourself but don't blow it up!
For your info, it has VTC settings. It's VAFC II which works for i-vtec.
I'm not going cheap, I just have it and I would like to learn how to manipulate it. I read it's manual, I have a good idea about the settings, I just need a guidance, for not to harm the engine.

Sorry had the VAFC II on my GSR and my tuner laughed at me and pulled that **** out and replaced it with Hondata. I never saw settings on mine for VTC but then again I was never looking for them cause of the b-series.

OP to be honest with you, the Kseries engine is a much more complex engine to tune due to the ecu. Everything is different from the older series such as B,H,D,F.
Hondata is the only who really put time into developing a tune/tunable ecu chip for the Kseries. VAFC II wasn't really designed or engineered for the Kseries. Although it will work it will not give you much gain nor will it change anything to do with fuel maps, vtec engagement and such.
If I was you I would sell it and put the money towards Hondata... but do what you want in the end its your money wasted not mine!

All I want is make sure I'm not loosing HP because of it, I heard that the guy who sold me the car had the VAFCII tuned to consume less fuel for better gaz consumption, which means less HP. All I want is to get the best out of it, no need for a lot of HP, at least like stock or just 1-2-3 HP more, don't care.
I don't want to go through selling it, or even removing it, I don't want to go through the wiring process of removing it.
All I need is a little help to get the best settings and leave it. I am not planning to do mapping the first place, if it wasn't there with the car, I would have never thought of buying one :D or even get hondata or K-pro or any stand alone ECU managment.
