exhaust question
hey, i want to buy exhaust for my 90 civic si but dont know where to buy it. i dont want one of those universal mufflers, they are illegal here in boise. if anyone can tell me where to get performance exhaust that looks pretty much stock, i would greatly appriciate it. thanks.

how much you wanna pay? Most good ones range in the 300-500 range...I'm doing a custom...with a universal muffler, but not a loud one...since you have an EF, check this one out... go to JDMhondaparts.com and check out the Es racing muffler under 'Exhaust' it's what i'm getting and from what I hear...it's pretty stock sounding

You can also get the HKS exhaust...You cant get any more stock than that

I heard the apexi ws is quiet and but not so stock looking, though i believe its pretty small to look like a stock if you understand what I mean. It usually runs around $400 shipped depending on where you get it.

the ES oval muffler can be loud as ****....just depends on how you set it up....for instance, if you have a cat. or not...and if you have a resonator or not..and depending on the resonators size as well...

I went from a 5zigen axle back to a full cat back by DC sports....
After I installed the DC I couldnt even friggin hear my exhaust but over time its gotten louder.....now its just a good tone at normal speeds....sounds great when I get on it.....somtimes its kinda loud on the highway just depends.....if I drive slow on the highway at low rpm right around the speed limit its fine but if i drive quicker like usual around 3 or 4k its noticably louder....and kinda annoying...
but whatever you do ........dont get 5zigen.....no jk....i still love that exhuast and how it looks....just was to loud and i dont like how it came out the wrong side.
