Default what swap would you suggest

Ok guys i just bought a rhd integra but the guy that i purchased it from retrieved it from his nephew (lost payments ) cough .. so i got a deal on the car but it has a d15b vtec in it . I just cam into some more money and im wondering what swap would be more legitimate a b16a or b18b and if i did puchase a b16 would the tranny of the d15b work with the b series.

Thanks

there was a guy a shop that posted in the itr section selling swaps for $3000 with the ecu. to me that's a great deal since you have 200hp and 30mpg. depending on what the ls swap costs, it's mileage and your goals it might also be a good deal.

if you want cheap you can get a b20swap and LS trans for like 8-900 bucks.
I personally wouldn't get anything less than a gsr swap.

Dude you have a rhd integra dont cheap out on a ls or b20 save and get a usdm itr swap, imo the itr is more worth it! just get a 98''+ itr swap cause it comes with the 4.7 f.d and lsd tranny, a step down from that would be the jdm gsr it has a bit more hp than the stock usdm gsr and it comes with a lsd! or usdm gsr swap then theres the b16 imo i would go with a b16a ctr but there just around the same as a itr swap and there a 1.6l the b18c-1/5 are 1.8l.

you meant b16B not A. plus, i would NOT get a b16b swap for an integra. its torqeless. i would prefer a ls over b16b in an integra just for the torque, then throw on a vtec head. get a gsr or itr if you dont know much bout swapping. just get something reliable.

only the jdm itr came with the 4:7 fd and that tranny isn't really THAT fast, but it is useful in autocross since you have a tight 1-3rd. drag racing it has no real advantage over the 4:40 ring with the tighter 1-5th. all usdm itr's and 96-97 jdm itr's have the j4d box with the b16 gears and 4:40 fd. all years have a torsen style LSD.
