been awhile since i delved into the electrical and wiring issues, but just curious if the hx 5pd harness utilizes the 2 wire iac plug and if it is compatible with a y8 swap?

 

it might help to add that the y8 is in a 96 cx hatch and, reason for the harness is to eliminate the auto plugs left over from the tranny swap and to fix some other wiring issues i'm having.

 

The IACV plug should be a 2 wire version IIRC. You will have a leftover plug from the EGR valve, just let it hang. You will also need to rewire for a 4 wire primary O2 sensor.

 

im using 4 wire o2 sensors already so that shouldn't be an issue, will the dash plug on the hx harness match up with the dash plug for the hatch? and i forget what an IIRC is, i'm hoping the hx utilized the linear iacv on the manifold, as that is what i'm trying to get operating correctly. thank you for the info.
