So I am trying to figure out my v2v but am unsure what each mark means on the BDL cam gears.

With the bolts loosened on the cam gears if I turn it left or right I can get about 3 tick marks each way. Is each tic mark a deg? On their site they say -10deg to +10 deg. Or am I supposed to undo all the bolts and rotate it to the next bolt hole and that is a deg or 2 deg? Any help would be great. I am lost right now.

Also is turning to the right clockwise neg deg and left counter clockwise postive deg?

 

On most cam gears, a tick mark is 2 degrees

clockwise is advance+
counter-clockwise is retard-

 

Are you sure? Because Golden eagles website says to the right clock wise is retard and to the left counter clock is advance

 

depends what part of the gear you are talking about.
