this is in my engine bay...what is it? anyone????
ok... ive got a 92 cx hatch, its from canada so it has a few different option then the american ones, this i know. this piece is right next to the brake booster and it plugs into the stock harness (so i know its nothing after market). in case you cant read what it says... -do not touch this part, its normal for this part to get hot while head lamps are on... so my guess is...is it a coil for hid??? i dont know. help me out.
That's the DRL module (Daytime Running Lights)
IT just outputs a dropped voltage of your high beams to run w/the ignition on. It's law for any car in Canada post 1990
Hope this helps

You don't need it if ur in the states.
Your headlights just WONT come on with the ignition.
They'll still work normally with the switch, they just wont come on during the "daytime"
