Ok I know there is a post to put this in but i have had no luck....
I just need to know:
I have a 92 Civic Hatch and i can get a good deal on HID's right now from my friend. But i hear its bad to put them in stock housings....????
Why is that? Will it burn the housing? look bad?
Besides the fact that it will blind people, please help me out

Re: Another HID Queston.....I know i know....real quick PLEASE! (Hatch It)
keep your projectors and put the HID in them...you need the cutoff of the projectors to not blind people and focus the light on the road and ahead instead of everywhere like stock head lights plus projector cutoff is the ****...

The stock housing has the lense in sections and when the light hits it you'll have sections of lights...with bulbs you can't really notice it but with HID you will hate it...
Example stock housing....
Projectors....doesn't matter with HID or bulbs same effect..this is what you want...

check out....

I joined about a week ago and im learning alot on there. putting HID's in your stock headlight will kill everyone. there will be soo much glare cause of the reflective housing. even with casper shields there is still some glare. there's only 1 way to do it and that is to retrofit. to get that sharp cutoff and not to blind anyone.

Re: (xTurtle714x)
So besides blinding people, they will be similar to stock bulbs?
I just want them to be brighter than stock and not destroy my housings.....
