i think my idle air control valve is bad. what one will work? i have a 91 crx dx with a 97 civic d16y7, and i think a 92-95 z6 Intake manifold, will any d series one fit?

 

you will need one from a 92-95 civic ONLY 96-00 civic hav3 different style iacv. i have a couple pm me if interested.

 

try cleaning yours first, look in the FAQS, theres a write up on "how to fix your idling woes"

 

i looked at the faq and was wondering since my throttlebody only has 1 hole on the inside it doesnt have a fitv right?

 

i think only the b-seies have that

 

i cleaned the iacv, and the hole in the throttle body that goes to the iacv with intake cleaner, and it didnt change anything

 

when the engine is cold and i start it the idle will go up and down anywhere between 500-2k, then when its warmed up it will rarely go higher than 500, and bounces down to like 1 at lights and almost shuts off, it goes so low that all the lights will come on like it shut off then go away when it bounces back to 500, does this sound like iacv or something else?
