Got my b18c from hm today... wow its clean. Can't wait to get home on leave and get it in and start working on it.

 

I'm so jealous, wish i had the money to swap my engine. Oh well only time will tell...

 

so I know a couple of years ago it was legan in ca to swap in a jdm equivallant engine, ( ie. jdm b18c in place of a usdm b18c ) Do you know if that is still the case? Does HM give any guarentee of how many miles are on the engine? I have a 97 gsr and I'm trying to decide on either a rebuild or maybe buy a uesd jdm longblock. what do you think?

Im not sure about the illegal pretty sure they still dont let you but i dont know for sure not from california just stationed here. and as for where i got it hmotorsonline.com and they guarantee start up and all the sensors and everything on the motor.
