Why the heck would you spend a third to a quarter of the cost of a car on just moving to a manual?

Take any mods from your car off, make it stock again, sell it, buy a car with a real tranny.

Then take the 1500-2000 dollars you DIDN'T just waste, and buy a turbo.

i recently changed a 94 accord from auto to manual. we spent 35 dollars at the local junk yard getting all the hard lines, pedal assembly, slave and master cylinders, shift linkage and shifter assembly. also swapped in an h22a at the same time so it made it easier to bolt everything up. so how is it more cost effective for me to get a new car when i spent 2500 including swapping in the h22a?

Whoops. Didn't notice the -T on the model. I read the question, not his sig.

My opinion still stands. I don't think it's worth it.
