B20 Vtec Oil Pressure HELP!!!!
I need some help bad.
I have a b20 vtec. and my problem is the following. When my car is in idle and warm my pressure gauge read between 30 and 35 psi. if i drive it like a grandma my car responds fine and i can drive it for hours like that. but, as soon as i hit the gas and push the car to the limit. my oil pressure acts weird. after hitting the car hard and going back to idle, my pressure fluctuates from 23 to 28 and wwhen i hit the gas in first or seconfd gear from 2k rpm and 3.5k rpm. my car kind of doesnt take off. it just tries to respond fine but it doesnt. is like the car tries to get stuk. Im runnig 10w30 mobil 1. oh, when i turn off the car and turn it back on, the car goes to normal again.
What could it be

uh.. thats doesn't like a oil psi problem
After full warmup your car should be anywhere from 10~15psi at idle
and depending on your rpms around 40~75 crusing on the hwy, at WOT to 10k i get about 90psi at redline..
it sounds like you have a
1) ecu issuse
2) timing issuse
or something is majorly ****ed up, check your timing

oil pressure will always be lower when you get it really hot. as long as you got more than 10psi at idle and over 60psi over 3500rpm there is nothing to worry about. the oil pressure will bounce/fluctuate while the engine is running but should be pretty consistent.
was your b20/vtec tuned properly? that could be a reason why your engine is not performing at its best.
