Default steering problems

what is this squeeking noise? and also what is the popping noise that you hear, squeeking noise sounds like its coming from right behind the steering wheel and the popping is from under the car

the bump noise you hear might be your rack and pinion.i had the same thing going on on my crx and had my rack rebuilt.the bump went away and steering feel improved.as for the squeek,i can't think of anythimg off the top of my head.

i fixed the squeaking noise for now. i looked behind the wheel threw the crack and there was a little pin thing rubbing against the back of the steering wheel and i pushed it back with my key and it sparked and the horn beeped, now when i turn it it doesn't squeak lol

That finger rides on the wheel for the horn. Without it, the horn won't work. Originally, there's a fair amount of grease between it and the wheel, but not everyone reapplies it when switching wheels. You should grease it and bend the finger back, or else you won't have a horn.

The other noise you hear could be anything from inner tie rod ends to a bad steering rack to a worn u-joint between the column and the steering rack (or loose pinch bolts), etc.
