Default 1994 Wagon Oil Light Issues

I have a1994 accord wagon ex with a manual transmission and 198,000 miles. I had a pretty decent oil leak deveop on me a few weeks ago and did not really have the time to fix it myself. The oil was leaking from the sending unit, right above the oil filter, thus causing the oil to fall on the the exhaust and create this lovely arouma.

Anyways I got the car back yesterday and it has been driving great however now everyonce in a while my oil light comes on. Sometimes it stays on for about three min and then starts to flash at me, other times it stays on for a few seconds then is done.

The oil level is fine and I am assuming that the sending unit would be good since it is new but maybe not. Just wondering what to do about this, I am rather afraid to drive it, as I don't want to cause major damage.

Find someone with a mechanical oil pressure gauge.
You've got to determine if the Oil Pressure Sender's lying to you or you've got an underlying pressure issue; either from sludge build up or mechanical wear.

Alright so I got ahold of an oil pressure gauge and everything is fine. Took the sending unit out and replaced it with one from Honda. Thing is fixed and no light issued so far. Thanks for the help.
