I would like my body line back, thanks (build)
I've been driving my car far too long in this condition so i decided it was time to completely repaint it.
To do:
Knock out all the putty from the previous owner
Weld in my new quarters
Prep/Paint 92-95 SI black with red flake
enjoy :D
Before (sorry for the cell phone pics)

^My strut came up and hit my hood

^putty chipping everywhere

^hit a guardrail

After about 2 hours of work today

^The real panel on this is bent inwards a little bit

^some one put an ex door on so ill have to fill in the holes

workinnn

I used an air chisel to knock out most of the putty and started sanding a little with a DA sander but it became to dark so ill start bright and early tomorrow. Any suggestions/comments welcome :D Also, does anyone know where I can order a quality fitting drivers side fender?

fixing rust consists of sanding it off (if its surface rust)... or doing a panel replacement, or panel patch.... in essence thats how u fix rust....
this is nothing u cant handle, good luck

Ok so I was thinking and I decided i'm going to try to find some junk door with good trim pieces and cut those trim pieces off and used them on the rear quarter where its just too rotted, any takes on this?
Holy cow, this is a big project. I can't belive how much filler is in there. Glad to see you're trying to fix it right!
Good luck with it!
