Default HELP!! F23A running like poop!

Ok, car is a 2001 Accord EX with an F23A VTEC.

Car is running like poop, running on 3 cylinders. It has a CEL on right now. Took it to AutoZone and they scanned it, threw two codes: P1399 (which from what i've seen on here means a glowplug code???), and a P0303, which came up as a cylinder 3 misfire.

I've tried the following to fix this problem: Plugs, Wires, and replaced the injector that is located 3 spaces over from the timing belt side of the motor. I replaced the injector because when I unplugged the spark plug wire and that injector I heard no audible difference in how the motor was running. Sounded the same, running on 3 cylinders.

Anyway, replacing the injector hasn't fixed our problem, and the car is still a very expensive paper weight.

What next? I'm thinking a compression test and a valve adjustment. I wanted to know if anyone has run into this same problem before. My buddy NEEDS his car back, and since he's borrowing my truck, I want him to have his car back too. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

How would I go about checking the distributor? And would I check ignition timing or mechanical timing (Belt, etc.)?

Went to hondahookup, and they didn't have a manual for an 01 Accord. Anyone know how I can go about checking out the distributor on this car?

remove the spark plug from cylinder 3 going from right to left... I.E: from drivers side being #1 going to the right... take the wire and ground it to the motor and check if its throwing spark... if its not... and you replaced the wires... change your cap....

Strong spark on all 4 cylinders, and it's getting plenty of fuel as far as I can tell. I'm kinda really stumped here.

Is the injector clicking? If you don't have a stethescope you can use a bar or screwdriver and press it against your jawbone next to your ear to isolate the injector to hear if it is or not.

How did you check for spark on cyl 3? You may have spark at the end of the boot but it doesn't mean that the plug is sparking correctly. Have you removed the plug? What condition is it in?

If you have spark at the tip of the plug you should probably confirm valve adjustment.
