Default Need ECU HELP

Hey i have a 96 civic Hatch CX and it has a B16A2(si) swap running off a P73 ecu. When driving i get on it and at 4500 rpm it pops like Vtec but u feel the car being held back then at 6000 rpm it takes off like crazy. Just wondering anyones advice on a different ecu or what to do with this P73. Thanks for your time

Sounds like you should just get it on a dyno and get it tuned

edit: Relic1 has the right idea.

P73 VTEC = 5200 - 5750 depending on which one it is.
4500 VTEC = P72

the reason why it feels like it's being held back, a B16 doesn't like 4500 RPM VTEC point.

get the right ECU (P2T) OR get an OBD1 ECU and have it tuned.

Thanks for the info. I have a p2t but didn't kno the harness in the car was obd2a and ofcourse the p2t is obd2b. I wanted to somehow get a 99-00 harness and use the ecu for the motor or just get a p28 and have it tuned for the setup. Anyone have harness or p28? Thanks. Again
