i have a b18a1 swapped into my crx and this is my 3rd motor in this car all 3 being b18a1's....everyone have had oil pressure that moves around when the car is at idle the oil psi is around 20-25 psi and when the car is under load (reving up) the oil psi goes to 60-65psi and stays there till engine goes to idle. is this a common problem with these engines or am i jus that unlucky that i got 3 with bad oil psi in a row! also is it safe to drive like this?

last I checked thats an OK reading. a little bit higher would better. Takeyour oil pump off and port and shim it. tahts a start

 

thats normal.... what would you consider abnormal those numbers.

 

it scares me when it idles and drops around 20 psi.... and the last 2 motors i had wiped rod bearings within a month but then found my computer was puttin wayyyyyyy to much fuel into the motor and turnin my oil to gas pretty much....so i just wanted to see if the oil psi moving affect the motor when it blew up

 

well whatever it is thats causing your engines to blow up, it isn't the oil pressure. those numbers are perfectly normal.
