Default Tuning a D15B7/D15B mini-me

I'm about to do this head swap (putting a D15B VTEC head on my D15B7). I've heard some serious tuning is necessary to get these running 100%. What would you guys recommend to give me the kind of control I need over fuel/air ratio and VTEC. I am looking for something inexpensive but effective.

Define "inexpensive but effective".

Something that's not gonna break the bank, but will give me more control over VTEC/fuel air ratio. I don't know too much about VTEC controllers. I will be running an unmodded P08 ECU. Looking for something to work well with that.
