why bother it will blow up after a month ...they are made to be driven only a few times very very hard

 

so what is the dif.. if i just build it my self.... it will be the same thing..... and im sorry but id rather them build it than me... and they just dont build them for just a couple of races or driven hard...... why do they make diffenent class parts if that was true.

 

if you are really into getting it and spending hella $$$. then check out http://www.inlinefour.com. they sell them. But personaly it is one big waist. The motor just uses stock parts and is balenced. It doesnt even have all there parts that they cary on there.

Just save your money and built something better for cheaper.

spoons motors are for racing nothing more really they are meant to raced and rebuilt like any race engine ur friend has been watching to much fast and the furious....devin is right u cant rev to 14k on a daily driver and expect to have it last forever...and while u at it put a turbo on teh thing and watch it blow the **** up

My friend is building a show car....he just wants to be able to say he has a totally redone spoon motor....to get the full glits and glamour of being gay....and having a show car( you can tell I dont like show cars).....

I dont really care about this post....but it pisses me off he gets 15 responses in like 1 minute and I dont get one response for a actual tech ? i have for like 3 days......

Isnt this called HONDA-TECH?.....somtimes I have somthing really bad happen and besides the chilton this is the only place to go...and somtimes.....its like people dont do anythign on this site but bullshit and make fun of other people...

Enough with the spoon engine....he has a crx shell.....thats it....hes taken everything else in the car apart...and its going to take him a good 5 years till he ever gets it back to even stock.....besides teh fact he has about 2,000 dollars out in bills and such.

 

maybe u should check ur mail i replied to ur post read wut i said ur friend is gay ill tell him to his face tell him to buy a gsr motor and put a spoon sticker on his car then he can be "cool" but seriously a spoon motor isnt meant to be driven daily its high compression and ur not gonna run 93 in that on a stock ecu either

actualy spoon motors are very reliable b/c they are still OEM parts, its how you drive them that gets them torn up(driving it up to 14K every day will fu*k it up......... youll never see spoon drag racing cause thats not what they are built for, they are built for circuit racing.....really long circuit racing, but theyd make a badass auto x car!! but to answer the original question you can get them from inlinefour.com or get some one that can speak japanese and call up the "spoon factory" and no they dont make a "swap kit" but they do make mounts

BTW he is right about the turbo...yould be a moron to turbo an all motor engine that runs that high compression....

they just blueprint and balance the engine they dont' sell you motors they use!!!!!!!
for god sake they dont' even sell the cams they use they sell you sport cams not group 1 cams which is the ones they use in their cars! if you want to argue and see who knows more ask me hmmm.... the heads on their crate motors aren't even ported, they are type r heads... devin17 and who ever thinks spoon sell race motors are dumbasses and what is this revving up to 14k???? it's not a F1 car for god sake hope you were being sarcastic god damn it why are so many n00bs in ef forum??
