Default AEM boost solenoid question

To use a AEM boost solenoid, do you have to use AEM EMS to tune your car? or would the solenoid work with ectune?

Thanks

Default Re: AEM boost solenoid question

the aem solenoid is a rebadged mac valve, or it used to be, hell the turbosmart e boost uses the same damn valve.

it is a normally closed valve, it fails closed so you only run wastegate pressure. (atleast it is supposed to and thats what i have been told)

so if the ectune has the ability to run a n.c. valve yes it should work. (i am not familliar with ectune)

i am using that valve with hondata s300.
