I tried 2 different cd players, neither worked. I don't have a harness adapter, using chassis wires (ghetto way). I checked if my outlet cig light works and it doesn't either. I got no fuses blown. What can the problem be if neither work?

 

When putting in the after market head to you disconnect anything? If not i would just recommend getting an harness there only 8 bucks at auto zone. Sure you can find it cheaper and it will save you a lot of frustration with this problem.

try checking your fuses.

"back up" fuse under the hood.
