HOOD DAMPERS paint em' bronze or maroon?
I bought a set of 95 Acura Legend hood dampers for $19.89.(I actually traded these for set of 89's I got last week) They look bad but are in good working condition. Instead of the usual tein green or pwjdm silver I was pondering what color I should paint my dampers. I was thinking a very dark gold like the cooling plate on this silver integra would be ok. Any suggestions?

My car is a 99 vouge silver metalic coupe. The engine bay is all stock but in progress. Still have some body work to finish. Swap will come eventually, my D16Y8 has only 96k on it.

No way does my engine bay compare. My bay is stock as of now.
I chose the ride cuz my ej8 is also silver and I like the color of the cooling plate. Thanks for the feed back. I'm also thinkin about painting the dampers a very dark maroon color+clear coated.

I looked up color differences on wikipedia. Bronze has shades of brown while gold has shades of yellow/orange. I think that a light bronze would look better than a dark buttery looking yellow. Thanks for pointing that out!what should I go with; light bronze or dark maroon(dark red w/out purple tint)?
The valve cover on the mitsubishi below is the shade of maroon I like.
