i have a quick question
resonators come after the cat, think of it as a silencer...it takes away that ricey sound.

if u look into a resonator ull see little dimples on the walls..the purpose of these dimples is to slow the exhaust flow..thus helping to silence the exhaust to some extent..each manufacture of resonators, usually muffler makers, forms these dimples into patterns to redirect the exhaust gas s in different patters..this is where u get different tones..so the resonator is for just helping to quiet the exaust but to also give it a certain tone..when match d with muffler ull get the exact tone u want..not an easy task at times
