Just taking a look at the alternator, I need to replace it today. Seems like a very quick job but just looking at it, where the hell to you take it out from? Take of the brake booster? or does it fit going out through the bottom? Just a quick question imo lol.

jack up the driver side of the car and take off the wheel and then the splash guard. you can access better from under there.

hoping its like a 15-30 minute job, just a quick out and in.

 

Well I got the job done last night but I had to deal with some bolts that havnt been touched in 20 years. we all know how much that sucks haha.

it was like a 90 minutes job, i spent a good 20 minutes removing the alternator bracket in order to get the fkn alternator out @@ sucked bad. those two bracket bolts were major S.O.B.'s

but w/e my car is all better, no more blinking battery from a bad eld.
