Default Need suspension help!!!

I bought a 99 Civic SI about 2 years ago. I have done nothing to it, it was started when I bought it. Anyway, it has Skunk 2 Coilovers. Well my shocks have went out recently. What do I need to do to replace them? I have talked to a few people that said I could prbably do it myself, but I don't even know what shocks I need to buy. If you can help I would appreciated it.

its easy. there is a diy on here and you can just google it and find a couple good ones. you need to get performance shocks like Koni Yellow, Bilstein HD, etc. Anything that is OEM replacement will probably blow because they are not designed to operate in the lower part of their movement which is where they are on a lowered car. For example Yellows (aka sport) can operate correctly in any part of the range as long as they arent bottoming out internally. Yellows arent cheap, but they are one of the better entry level shocks and can be rebuilt if they blow (rare)
